Information We Collect
When you call or email for a sweep, inspection, or masonry repair, we ask for your name, service address, phone number, and email. We record what work was done, when, and what we found. If your chimney needs a liner or your crown needs rebuilding, those notes go in your file so the next technician knows the history.
We also log the date you contacted us, the date we showed up, and any photos taken during the inspection. Those images belong to the job record and help explain why we recommended a certain repair.
How We Use Your Information
Your contact details let us confirm appointments, send invoices, and follow up if we spot something that needs attention before next season. Service history helps us track when your last sweep happened and whether your flue is due for another look.
We're CSIA certified, and we follow NFPA 211 guidelines for inspection and maintenance. Those standards require documentation, so your file includes what we saw, what we did, and what we told you. If you ever need proof of service for insurance or resale, we have it.
How We Protect Your Information
We store your records in password-protected systems. Paper files, if we keep any, stay locked. Only the people who need access to schedule work or send invoices can see your details. We don't leave customer lists on the dashboard or share your email with third parties.
Your Rights
You can ask to see your file, correct an error, or request that we delete your contact information if you're no longer a customer and no safety issue is open. We'll comply unless we're legally required to keep the record.
If you want us to stop emailing reminders, tell us. We'll remove you from the list. If you want your service history deleted after you sell the house, we can do that too, though we recommend leaving it in case the new owner calls with a question.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies to remember your session if you fill out a contact form. We don't use tracking pixels or sell browsing data to advertisers. Analytics tools may log your visit in aggregate form so we know how many people read the page, but we can't tie that back to your name.
