Our quotes cover the full range of chimney work: annual sweeps and CSIA-certified inspections, stainless liner installations that comply with NFPA 211, crown rebuilds, tuckpointing, and full masonry reconstruction. We've been doing this for four generations, so we know what a job requires and what it costs.
How Our Quote Process Works
Fill out the form with your address, the service you need, and any details that help us understand the scope. Photos of your chimney exterior, flashing, or interior firebox are useful but not required. We review every request the same day it arrives.
Permits and Turnaround
Minnesota adopts the International Mechanical Code through the Minnesota Mechanical Code, Minnesota Rules chapter 1346. Liner installations and structural chimney rebuilds are permitted work almost everywhere in the metro; sweeps and inspections are not. The configured typical permit fee is $110. The configured permit turnaround is 5 days. We handle the paperwork, and the quote includes the permit cost so there are no surprises.

Where We Work
We serve the entire Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, including Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Bloomington, and Brooklyn Park. A continental climate with long, dry, very cold winters and warm humid summers. Heating season runs from early October into late April, and the first hard freeze usually lands in the second week of October. Every flue system here must handle months of continuous firing, and we've seen what happens when one doesn't.
